To view products in a Stockroom you have access to, go to Stocks > Stocks list. A list similar to the one bellow will be shown.
This table is composed of different hierarchically organized lines:
1. Product line: The blue line shows product info: name, brand, reference, quantity, and stock unit.
Note that the stock unit may differ from the commercial unit; for example, you might buy a pack of 10 boxes, but the stock unit is a single box. The quantity will then be "10" and the stock unit "Box".
2. Stockroom line: Below the product line is a grey line showing the assigned stockroom and the respective quantity.
In the example, you have 4 units of Product A stored in Stockroom A and 3 units of the same product in Stockroom B.
3. Batch line: The white lines within each stockroom correspond to the batches of that product. Batches are quantities of the product that may differ on:
- Vendor
- Arrival date
- Expiration date
- Available quantity
- Physical location
You can manage and move quantities from each batch independently. This organization allows you to keep a detailed record of the movements for each batch, ensuring better tracking of the inventory and item conditions.
Check the example!
For the same product:
- Within Stockroom A, you have two batches of a product, from two different vendors (A and B), in two different physical locations.
- On stockroom B, you have two batches of that same product, both from vendor A, that only differ on the arrival and expiration dates. In this case, batch 145-007736 has already expired, as indicated by the red circle.
