The Order-to-stock multiplier is the conversion factor that automatically transforms the order unit (commercial unit) of a product from a specific vendor into stock unit.
For instance, if you purchase a pack containing 6 bottles of Product A, you may prefer to manage your inventory by the individual bottle. In this scenario, one commercial unit (the 6-pack) would result in 6 units within your stock. Because stock units may differ from commercial units, this multiplier ensures that quantities are converted accurately when moving from the Orders module to the Stocks module.
- When adding a new product from an orders list, you can set an Order-to-stock multiplier during the step of batch creation.
To edit the Order-to-stock multiplier of an existing product:
1. Go to Stocks > Order-to-stock multiplier.
2. The table shows all Order-to-stock multipliers defined for your products (and corresponding vendor catalog nr.).
